Solutions Engineer
Department: Business Solutions
The Solutions Engineer will focus on providing well thought out technical solutions to the business. This position will plan, implement and document technical business solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and support targeted systems, which include BC/DR response
- Provide engineering support for escalated issues from HelpDesk as needed
- Responsible for planning, testing and implementing business solutions
- Create proposals and technical scope documents for prioritized projects
- Coordinate with engineer specialists to implement, troubleshoot and analyze systems and services
- Maintain accurate documentation of topology, systems, services and configurations

Qualifications and Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in engineering business solutions in a wide range of technologies
- College degree in an IT related field preferred

- Expertise with Automation, scripting (Powershell, Perl, VBS, Excel macros)
- Expertise with System Architecture, Networking and Storage
- Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft SQL systems management
- Familiarity with Apple systems on a corporate network
- Financial industry experience preferred

Associate Portfolio Manager
Department: Portfolio Management
Manages structured equity portfolios maximizing tax efficiency while tracking an index. Portfolio managers act as investment "engineers" − creating portfolios using optimization software to implement firm’s quantitative-based strategy. The Associate Portfolio Manager must continually measure performance, manage risk and control costs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Construct optimized equity index portfolios for separate accounts
- Rebalance and transition portfolios to maximize tax-efficiency
- Construct custom benchmark data
- Monitor index changes and corporate actions
- Generate after-tax return data for both portfolios and benchmarks
- Performance attribution
- Generate client reports, respond to client requests for analysis
- Interact across teams including Technology, Research, Marketing, Customer Service, Operations
- Participate in process improvement and technology development efforts
Job Requirements:

The Client Relations Associate will work with the operations, sales, and portfolio management teams, as well as the financial advisor to coordinate new and existing client account information.
Technical Duties:
- Set-up new accounts in proprietary systems
- Coordinate with broker/dealers, RIAs, and FAs to ensure accuracy of account information
- Facilitate the termination of client accounts
- Verify all flows in and out of accounts
- Maintain existing account attributes
- Research and resolve discrepancies in new and existing accounts

Client Relations Supervisor (Nation Team)

The primary responsibility of the Client Relations Supervisor is to supervise and audit the activities of the Nation Client Relations team. The Client Relations Supervisor will also work with the operations, sales, and portfolio management teams, as well as the financial advisor to coordinate new and existing client account information.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Act as an "account opening expert" for all relationships. The main aspects include: setting up new accounts, coordinating with clients to ensure accurate account information, verify cash/security flows, close accounts and maintain existing account attributes.
- Research and resolve discrepancies in new and existing accounts.
- Communicate account changes across affected departments.
- Perform daily audits of all new accounts and account changes.
- Monitor the work of all members of the East and West Client Relations Groups, including verifying accuracy of new accounts, activities entered into Argos, and information conveyed in emails.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to team members via regular meetings.
- Facilitate workload distribution.
- Facilitate the opening of accounts for large relationships, mutual funds, seed portfolios, and emerging markets.
- Ensure commitments made to other departments are met.
- Build upon and improve current processes and procedures.
- Meet with other departments regularly to discuss interdepartmental issues.
Work experience and education requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
- 5-6 years of related industry experience
- 2+ years of management experience
