Giving Thanks by Giving Back

In this season of giving, Parametric is honored to contribute to our local communities through our Charitable Giving Program. Across our offices, groups of motivated employees found time outside of their day jobs to volunteer, organize drives, participate in fundraising events and ultimately make an impact in our communities. A key element of our program is the ongoing support of Flagship Charities, which represent organizations that address causes and issues aligned to our employees’ interests.

In 2017, Parametric partnered with three flagship charities:

Cancer Pathways

Cancer Pathways offers programs of education, support and community options for men, women, teens and children living with cancer, along with their families and friends.

StandUp For Kids

StandUp For Kids is a charitable organization dedicated to improving the lives of homeless and at-risk youth and young adults.

Minneapolis Crisis Nursery

Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery works to end child abuse and neglect and create strong, healthy families. The Crisis Nursery provides family support 24-hours a day, 365 days a year through its free, voluntary services.

As a firm, we take pride in supporting such impactful organizations, especially those that specifically support women and children. They are doing vital work for those in need in our community.

While the work we’ve done with our flagship charities is critical, it’s only one of the many ways we use our Charitable Giving Program! Over the past year, in addition to partnering more meaningfully with three flagship charities, we’ve hosted 33 events to raise funds or collect much-needed items for charitable organizations. This has helped 18 different organizations, and we’ve had the opportunity to donate more than $60,000 through employee-led fundraising efforts, dollars matched on employee donations, and charitable-giving donations directly from the company.

We are excited to be more than a firm that focuses solely on the bottom line. The Charitable Giving Program is one way that Parametric is working to not only deliver value to our clients, but to the communities in which we live and work. Thanks to all our employees, local organizations and clients for allowing us the chance to partner with them and make a difference!

"I just want to thank you and your organization again for the incredibly generous donations to StandUp For Kids. I spent the afternoon in our storage unit with a huge smile on my face, because every box and bag was full of items the homeless kids in Seattle request and need on a regular basis. It felt great not only to top up our bins, but also to be able to store a surplus of some supplies. We will use them all. Thank you so, so much! You've really made a difference in the lives of Seattle's homeless youth."
