It Is Time for Class (Hires)!

At Parametric, we value our culture and continue to find ways to preserve it even as we grow (30 years, $200B... and counting). A key way for us to build and develop our people is to help with training, which is why we developed our Class Hire Program. 

Our three-week comprehensive experience builds on what new grads may know about the investment industry, while helping them develop specific skills that can drive their success at Parametric. It is also designed to help new hires feel welcome, we offer plenty of opportunities to develop camaraderie among others in the program—as well as chances to develop relationships with Parametric employees throughout the company. 

Our program begins with an overview of Parametric’s history, investment philosophy, products and strategies. In these sessions, our recruits have the opportunity to interact with staff across all levels, including lunch with our CEO and other senior executives. This experience is definitely a highlight of the program, and it is a great example of our open-door approach.

Once our new hires have a solid foundation, they move on to one-on-one job shadowing to provide further insight into their new role and team. Whether they want to explore Investment Operations, Portfolio Accounting or Client Relations, everyone will interact with various aspects of client accounts and have a direct impact on our overall business!

Christine Smith - Chief Operating Officer 

Ms. Smith is Parametric’s Chief Operating Officer, and a member of the Executive Management Team. She provides oversight and strategic leadership of the company’s overall operations functions that include: Middle and Back Office Operations, Information Technology, Risk Management, Compliance, Human Resources and Administrative functions.
