Chief Investment Officer, Equities and Derivatives

Tom is a member of Parametric’s Executive Committee and leads Parametric’s Research, Strategy, Portfolio Management, and Trading Teams, coordinating resources, aligning priorities, and establishing processes for achieving clients’ investment objectives. Tom has coauthored articles on topics ranging from liability-driven investing to the volatility risk premium. He is a voting member of all the firm’s investment committees. Prior to joining Parametric in 1994 (originally as an employee of the Clifton Group, which was acquired by Parametric in 2012), Tom spent two years working for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve in Washington, DC. A CFA charterholder, Tom is a member of the CFA Society of Minnesota.

Jim is a member of Parametric’s Executive Committee and directs the firm’s fixed income strategies. He joined Parametric in 2008, originally as an employee of the firm’s former parent company, Eaton Vance. Jim previously managed municipal bond portfolios for clients at M.D. Sass. Prior to that, he was vice president of municipal arbitrage at Kidder, Peabody & Company and a municipal bond trader and underwriter with Continental Bank and Mellon Bank. Jim’s commentary has appeared in Bloomberg, the Bond Buyer, and Barron’s, among other publications.

Jennifer leads the Investment Strategy Team at Parametric, which is responsible for all aspects of Parametric’s equity-based investment strategies. In addition, she has direct investment responsibility for Parametric’s Emerging Markets and International Equity strategies and chairs Parametric’s Stewardship Committee. Previously she helped build Parametric’s active ownership and custom ESG portfolio construction practices. Prior to joining Parametric in 2013, she worked in equity research, primarily covering the energy, utility, and industrial sectors at firms including D.A. Davidson and McAdams Wright Ragen. A CFA charterholder since 2006, Jennifer is a member of the CFA Society of Seattle.

Managing Director, Investment Strategy

Alex leads the investment team responsible for Parametric’s liquid alternative strategies. He has more than 15 years’ experience working in portfolio construction, trading, and portfolio management across both futures and options. In his various positions, he has worked closely with institutional and high-net-worth clients and their consultants to address investment and risk management needs. Previously, he was responsible for supporting the development and distribution of Parametric’s strategies in Europe and before that served as a senior portfolio manager on Parametric’s volatility risk premium solutions. Alex began his career in investment management in 2006 with the Clifton Group, acquired by Parametric in 2012.

Larry oversees portfolio management and trading for Parametric’s liquid alternatives investment strategies, including commodities, volatility risk premium, and related options strategies. He’s a member of firm’s Enterprise Investment Management Committee and a voting member of the Liquid Alternatives Investment Committee. Prior to joining Parametric in 2006 (originally as an employee of Managed Risk Advisors, which was acquired by Parametric in 2007), Larry was a principal at Wolverine Trading, one of the largest options market makers in the world. At Wolverine he led all trading in the New York office on the American Stock Exchange and the COMEX, and he was responsible for over 90 equity/index options as well as market making in ETFs and structured products.

Justin leads the investment team responsible for the implementation and enhancement of Parametric’s Overlay Services Strategy. He joined Parametric in 2004 (originally as an employee of the Clifton Group, which was acquired by Parametric in 2012) and has extensive experience managing overlay portfolios for institutional investors. He has traded a wide variety of derivative instruments to help his clients meet unique exposure and risk management objectives. Justin is a member of the CFA Society of Minnesota and holds a Series 3 license.

Brian directs institutional portfolio strategies and is a municipal portfolio manager on Parametric’s Fixed Income Team. He’s responsible for buy and sell decisions, portfolio construction, and risk management for the firm’s Tax-Advantaged Bond Strategies. Brian joined the firm in 2009, originally as an employee of Parametric’s former parent company, Eaton Vance. Before joining Eaton Vance, Brian was vice president and municipal portfolio manager at M.D. Sass.

Issac leads Parametric’s fixed income SMA ladder practice and serves as a portfolio manager responsible for buy and sell decisions, portfolio construction, and risk management. He joined the firm in 2010 (originally with Eaton Vance, before its fixed income SMA solutions transferred to Parametric in 2019). Previously, Issac was a vice president in the municipal public finance group at Assured Guaranty, and before that he was with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a member of the Municipal Analyst Group of New York.

Tom is responsible for rules-based fixed income strategies, quantitative research, and investment process automation for Parametric’s Fixed Income Team. He began his career in the investment management industry with Eaton Vance in 1995. Previously, Tom was affiliated with Deloitte & Touche Consulting and the Naval Center for Space Technology. A member of the CFA Society of Boston, Tom was formerly chairman and a governor’s appointee to the board of trustees of Health Care Security, which oversees the investment of tobacco litigation settlement funds for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He is a CFA charterholder. Tom’s commentary has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Investor’s Business Daily, and American Banker, and he has been featured on New England Cable News and Bloomberg Radio.

Brian is responsible for Parametric's firmwide strategy and organizational development. He joined Parametric in 1990 and has held positions in portfolio management, product development, portfolio administration, marketing, and client service. He assumed the role of CEO in 2001, and he was elected to the Eaton Vance Corp. board of directors in 2014. Brian has been a featured speaker at events such as Inside ETFs and has appeared on the Bloomberg Trillions podcast and in several financial publications. He earned a BA in economics and sociology from the University of Washington.

Michi is a member of Parametric’s Executive Committee and leads Parametric’s Consultant Relations and Institutional Client Relationship Management Teams. Prior to joining Parametric in 2013, she was vice president and consultant relations manager at Wellington Management. Michi earned a BA in economics from Emory University and an MBA, magna cum laude, from Babson College. A CFA charterholder, Michi is a member of the CFA Society of Boston and holds the CAIA designation.

Ranjit is a member of Parametric’s Executive Committee and is responsible for Parametric’s technology and operational activities. Prior to joining Parametric in 2019, he was managing director and global head of portfolio management investment systems at BlackRock, where he led strategy and development for applications across asset classes for BlackRock and Aladdin clients. Prior to joining BlackRock in 2006, he spent 12 years in technology development and implementation at Citadel, RDA Corporation, and ICARUS (now Aspen Technologies).

Reuben is a member of Parametric’s Executive Committee and develops and maintains Parametric’s corporate development, business planning, and strategy functions. He also manages corporate business operations and acts as a liaison to facilitate operational efficiency and optimal collaboration. Before joining Parametric in 2011, Reuben was director of APAC for Russell Indexes, where his responsibilities included the development and management of the business throughout Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Prior to that, he held roles in sales, trading, and operations.

Prior to that, he held senior positions in business strategy, management of sales and relationship management, custom investment outsourcing, and sales and portfolio trading at Russell Investments.

Stephanie is a member of Parametric’s Executive Committee and leads an organization that includes the Project Management, Corporate Services, Business Continuity and Resilience, Business Intelligence Reporting, and Application Support teams. While the services her teams provide to the organization vary, the mission is the same: driving transparency, consistency, and a sense of urgency in delivering and supporting Parametric. Prior to joining Parametric in 2017, Stephanie spent 10 years managing technology projects at Russell Investments. Stephanie is a Certified Scrum Master and Project Management Professional.
